Holiday Reception at the Governor’s Executive Residence
Rebecca Nelson and John Pade, co-founders of Nelson and Pade, Inc.®, were honored to attend the Holiday Reception at the Governor’s Executive Residence in Madison, WI on Monday, December 12, 2016.
The event was hosted by Governor Scott Walker. After graciously greeting all of the guests, taking time to talk and pose for photos with all, Governor Walker addressed the group as a whole, describing the efforts by area groups to decorate each room of the mansion, discussing his recent trip to Iraq, Afganistan and Germany and acknowledging those who do and have previously served our country.
Attendees included Ben Brancel, Sect of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection; Scott Neizel, Sect. of the Department of Administration; staff of both departments, tribal leaders and individuals featured in the 2016 Growing Wisconsin magazine.
Nelson and Pade, Inc.®, along with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Aquaponics Program were among those featured. Growing Wisconsin is an annual guide to Wisconsin’s farms, forests, food and exports. It is published in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade & Consumer Protection and features stories about the state’s top crops, livestock, agribusiness, tourism, food safety and local products. Nelson and Pade, Inc.® and UWSP are featured, beginning on page 14.
