The Interactive Aquaponic Business Spreadsheets are customized for your specific location, operation and plan.  And, portions of the spreadsheets are editable so you can make changes to things like sales prices, as needed.  This is an incredible planning tool and excellent value.  The spreadsheets provide the numbers you need for the financial side of planning your aquaponics business as well as the structure you need to add additional information and location-specific costs. 

The interactivity of the spreadsheets allows you to adjust some numbers as you go, comparing various price points, start-up costs, operational costs and income scenarios.

Please note that there will be some research you will need to do to determine some of the local and startup costs for your operation.  You will then enter these numbers where appropriate in the spreadsheets.

There are 5 very detailed spreadsheets in the package, including:

1. Main Worksheet – where you see the big picture financials including start-up costs, production numbers, gross profit, operating expenses, net profit, payback and profit margin. This sheet adjusts when you add costs that you research locally.
2. Plant Worksheet – Looks at turns per year, various production scenarios, daily and annual harvests, input costs, and more.
3. Tour and Education Income – Add a revenue stream with tours and education.  This spreadsheet shows various income and expense scenarios from offering tours and retail sales.
4. Greenhouse Startup – Understanding your startup costs are critical to properly planning and funding your aquaponics farm. This spreadsheet gives you the template and structure you need to enter all of your start-up costs.  Data flows through to the Main Worksheet.
5. Order Form – You can complete the Aquaponic System Order Form with the accessories and options that you want so you see the complete cost of purchasing the aquaponics equipment. Data flows through to the Main Worksheet.

The spreadsheet package you select will correspond with one of our commercial aquaponic systems or MicroFarms.  When purchasing, you will select between the MicroFarm 1-2, MicroFarm 3, Small Commercial, Large Commercial and Large Commercial with Living Filter Beds

How it works:

Once you purchase the Interactive Spreadsheets, you will download and fill-out a questionnaire that provides us with pertinent information about your aquaponics business.  Within 5 business days (probably sooner), your customized interactive spreadsheets and instructions will be sent to you. We will send you the 5-sheet interactive spreadsheet package along with instructions.  

Notes:

• It is suggested that you purchase the Interactive Spreadsheets along with the Aquaponics Business Planning Kit
• The spreadsheets are created and editable in Microsoft Excel, so for the best experience, we recommend that you have familiarity with Excel. 
• Many fields in the spreadsheet are locked to maintain functionality.
