Gov. Evers Announces Nelson and Pade, Inc.® as a Winner of the ‘We’re All Innovating Contest’

Wisconsin Gov. Evers announced earlier this week the winners of the ‘We’re All Innovating’ Contest, which was created by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to recognize and promote the creative ways small businesses are adapting to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Wisconsin is known for its can-do spirit and its big ideas,” said Gov. Evers. “The COVID-19 pandemic has inspired businesses to find new ways fight the virus, operate their businesses, and meet the needs of our community. After looking at these winning projects, I’m truly in awe of these folks’ ingenuity, imagination, and creativity.”

After over 20 years of offering onsite aquaponics classes and training, aquaponics industry pioneers and experts, Rebecca Nelson, John Pade (co-founders of Nelson and Pade, Inc.®) and the Nelson and Pade Team, had to innovatively create a new approach to their course offerings. To date, thousands of attendees from over 110 countries and all 50 U.S. states have travelled to the Nelson and Pade, Inc.® demonstration facility in Montello, Wisconsin, and other hosted locations, to learn about aquaponic food production and controlled environment agriculture.

The COVID-19 pandemic created a challenge for Nelson and Pade, Inc.® in their ability to share their knowledge and continue to teach others around the globe about aquaponic food production. An innovative solution creating an online internet-based platform was established to present the world renowned Aquaponics Master Class® ONLINE! Addtionally, five new courses were developed and launched online, providing for an array of topics and skill levels.

The online Aquaponics Master Class® brings together all of the knowledge and information of the 3-day in-person offering, plus additional course materials, quizzes and bonus content. With over 30 hours of professionally presented, concise and comprehensive content, the online Aquaponics Master Class® includes more information, details and support materials than the original… and it is delivered directly to you, to learn at your own pace and access from anywhere, any time without the cost and stress of travel.
