Nelson and Pade, Inc. is proud to display their Clear Flow Aquaponic Systems® in their 5,000 square foot aquaponic greenhouse in Montello, WI. The greenhouse showcases state-of-the-art aquaponics and a diverse mix of crops. The greenhouse itself uses energy-efficient natural ventilation and dual-layer covering, a wood stove for supplemental heating and dehumidification, and bio-security components, demonstrating a commercially viable yet environmentally friendly operation.
Clear Flow Aquaponic Systems® on display include the Commercial 500 with ZDEP, Home Garden, F5 and our new home food production system. Plus, a nursery, germination units, a purge system and a packing area are all incorporated into the design.
On any given day, you will see tilapia lazily swimming in tanks filled with clean, clear water; floating rafts full of lettuce and herbs and a myriad of vegetables and fruits that can include tomatoes, beans, peas, cucumbers, bananas, kohlrabi, strawberries, broccoli, kale, Swiss chard, bok choi, radishes, beets, carrots, limes and oranges.
