Experience Matters

16To make learning about aquaponics and planning for your aquaponics venture easier, we have an extensive offering of training classes, seminars and events.  Here is our schedule of events. In addition to our Aquaponics Master Class® and Extended Stay Learning Program, we have co-developed and launched the first-of-its-kind hybrid University aquaponics course in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. This partnership brings together the experience and technology of Nelson and Pade, Inc.® with an accredited University platform for education.

Nearly every week there are new aquaponics workshops offered by people who have within the last couple of years, or even in some cases, months, jumped into aquaponics. We love their enthusiasm, but enthusiasm is not the same as knowledge. When you read their workshop agenda, it appears as though their courses are similar to ours.

The reality is that Nelson and Pade, Inc.® is good at what we do because of the experience that we have.

17If you are serious about learning aquaponics, there is no better course than our Aquaponics Master Class® because of the in-depth and diverse knowledge that Rebecca Nelson, John Pade and the Nelson and Pade, Inc.® team have to offer.

And a link to current projects

Since 1997, Rebecca Nelson and John Pade have taught workshops and the Aquaponics Master Class® to individuals from over 100 countries, all 50 U.S. states and several US territories.

Rebecca and John convey their knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner, always emphasizing the science and art of aquaponics and the steps required for successful operation of an aquaponics system.

23Nelson and Pade, Inc.®’s Aquaponics Master Class® is dynamic, fun and has three things that are 100% unique:

1. The wealth of knowledge shared is based on long-term experience in aquaponics, controlled environment agriculture and successful entrepreneurship.

2. Attendees of Nelson and Pade, Inc.® Aquaponic Master Class® are eligible to earn continuing education units and credits through our partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

3. The courses take place at Nelson and Pade, Inc.®’s state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities.  The greenhouses showcase fully-functional Clear Flow Aquaponic Systems® (both commercial and home-scale) and the attached classroom completes the professional learning environment.  Additionally, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point: Aquaponics Innovation Center is also located on the Nelson and Pade, Inc.® business campus.

When you attend a Nelson and Pade, Inc.® Aquaponic Master Class®, you will be presented information based on 30+ years of experience in the three critical areas: aquaponics, controlled environment agriculture and business. No matter what your application, understanding these three areas is critical to your success.

It seems that lot of the new aquaponics startups offering training and consulting think they see an easy path to money…jumping on the aquaponics band wagon. But the bottom line is, it takes an enormous amount of energy, integrity and know-how to offer quality, comprehensive courses. People will continue to copy Nelson and Pade, Inc.® but we will always have what the others don’t…long term experience in running and developing aquaponics systems and offering training, consulting and tech support. If you want experience, honesty and quality, then choose Nelson and Pade, Inc.®.
