Nelson and Pade, Inc.®, Montello, WI, offers aquaponic systems, training and consulting. In aquaponics, we raise fish and vegetables in a soilless, recirculating system without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. We demonstrate this in new 14,000 sq. ft. aquaponic greenhouse, which provides fresh vegetables and fish to our staff and community. We have 14,000 sq. ft. of shop space where we assemble systems that we sell and we have a comfortable and casual office in which the sales and daily business takes place.

Our Team-oriented approach to business includes weekly staff meetings to promote cohesiveness in sales, systems, processes and client interactions. Our client base is global and in the past few years we have hosted people from over 85 countries and all 50 US states in our aquaponics training classes in Montello, WI.

Order Fulfillment / Manufacturing Assistant

Job Description:
The following tasks will be performed by the person filling this position:

Using Fishbowl inventory software: Enter orders; Prepare quotes; Inventory receiving; Stock management; Assist manufacturing team: with preparation of materials, labels, pick and pack lists; pull, count and organize parts as needed; Quality Control

Using UPS and USPS websites: Create and print shipping labels

Small order fulfillment: Package and prepare small orders for shipment

Work with Operations Manager and Finance Manager to ensure: Incoming inventory is properly accounted for and stored in the proper location; Small orders are entered, packaged and shipped in a timely manner; The customer receives proper documentation with shipments

Restock and printing: Restock and print books and DVD’s as needed; Print and assemble training materials

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • A friendly demeanor and a joy of learning
  • Good verbal and writing skills
  • Thrive in a busy work environment
  • Organized, meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Experience in Fishbowl or other inventory management software preferred
  • Experience working in business and inventory management

Systems Assembler

Job Description:

The person filling this position will assist in the packaging and assembly of Clear Flow Aquaponic Systems®. Duties include counting and organizing parts, labeling and bagging parts, drilling and cutting plastic tanks and PVC pipe, assembly of components, palletizing and preparing the systems for shipment. Additionally, this person will be responsible for keeping the work space clean and organized and returning tools and equipment to the assigned location.

Requirements and Skills:

Individuals applying should have basic building skills such as reading a tape measure; properly using tools such as saws and drills, wrenches; cutting and gluing PVC; counting and keeping the workplace clean.  Having diverse skills in building, manufacturing, repair and plumbing is an asset.  Only hard-working, honest, motivated people need apply. Individual should have a positive attitude and a willingness to work in a team environment.
