| The 1st
International Aquaponics Congress and Short Course will
take place in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, October
29-31, 2008. This event will feature well known
aquaponic and aquaculture experts from around the world.
The congress will take place at the Expo-Guadalajara,
the premier convention center in Guadalajara.
In addition to the three
information-packed days of the congress, attendees will
have the opportunity to visit the trade show and tour a
commercial scale aquaponic farm with fish and vegetables
grown in a variety of recirculating systems.
Fresh tilapia and salad, grown at the facility, will be
available for guests to sample and musical entertainment
will be provided.

Following the congress
October 31- November 2, a
3-day short course, taught by Carlos Leon Ramos and Dr.
James Rakocy will be held.
